Governor Cuomo says helping the state recover from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic is one of his major goals in the months ahead.
During his State of the State address Monday, the governor called on the federal government to help New York close a multi-billion dollar budget gap that was made worse by the health crisis. The governor also highlighted his latest push to legalize recreational marijuana and make the state a global leader in clean energy. Other priorities include making sure all New Yorkers have access to COVID-19 vaccine and addressing systemic racism.
