Hundreds of COVID-19 vaccination appointments in Albany County have been canceled due to an unauthorized link used to schedule signups.
The county believes the link came from a staff member at a local school and was quickly distributed online. Officials are now looking into just how the link got out in the first place. Everyone whose appointment was canceled will have to re-enroll for a vaccination clinic in the future.
