More cases of a highly contagious COVID-19 variant have been discovered in the Capital Region.
Three more people in Warren County have tested positive for the new strain of virus which has been spreading across the United Kingdom and United States, for a total of five. Previously, there were four such cases detected in Saratoga County with some of them connected to a jewelry store in Saratoga Springs. There are now 15 known cases of the UK COVID strain in New York.
