The Capital Region man charged in connection with the recent violence at the U.S. Capitol has been released on bond.

Tuesday, 26-year-old Brandon Fellows made his first court appearance after being taken into custody over the weekend. Prosecutors say he was on the grounds of the U.S. Capitol illegally January 6th, but Fellows hasn't been accused of destroying any property or stealing anything. If convicted, he could face up to a year behind bars.
