The number of new COVID-19 cases in Capital Region schools continues to grow with each passing week.
A total of 409 additional cases were reported over the past seven days, a 16% increase from the week before. The one bit of good news is that's the smallest jump in infections since mid-October. Overall, there have been 2,926 cases among students and staff members since the start of the school year. That number includes both kids and teachers who are learning or working off-site.
