While the number of new COVID-19 cases continues to fall, Albany County has still surpassed a sad milestone in the ongoing health crisis.

The deaths of three more people were reported Wednesday, bringing the death toll past 300 for a total of 302. Roughly one-quarter of those people have passed away since the start of the year. The number of additional infections has grown by 192, which is significantly lower than the spike in cases that happened after the holidays.
