Albany International Airport is getting a much-needed boost to its bottom line thanks to the federal government.

The airport is receiving nearly $5 million to help offset financial losses suffered during the COVID-19 crisis. The airport has seen a drop in activity over the last several months since fewer people are choosing to travel. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand says this money will help make sure the airport can offer high-quality service once folks are comfortable flying

again.
