Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer is calling on Republicans and Democrats to work together on the next COVID-19 stimulus package.
Schumer told the New York Daily News Sunday a proposal by some Republican lawmakers to limit the next bill to roughly $600 billion won't provide enough relief to people who need it. President Biden has called for nearly $2 trillion in spending to help the country recover from the pandemic. Schumer says the process of approving that plan will begin this week.
