A GoFundMe page has been set up to help the family of an Albany murder victim with her funeral costs.
Police say Shanita Thomas was one of five people shot during a large gathering on Central Avenue Saturday night. Thomas was rushed to Albany Med but later died, while the other four victims suffered non-life threatening injuries. No arrests have been made but police say the gunfire may be connected to a dispute between violent men in the community. They're asking anyone with information to call them.
