The Times Union Center has been empty for nearly a year, but that could change in the next few weeks.
Arena officials have reached out to the NCAA and offered to host Division Two and Three basketball games and the Division Three hockey tournament next month. Due to ongoing concerns about the spread of COVID-19, there wouldn't be any fans allowed to attend. However, the games would allow people who normally work at the arena to make some money.
