A new report says both the FBI and U.S. attorney's office are looking into Governor Cuomo's COVID-19 task force.
According to the Times Union, officials are examining how the task force handled residents of nursing homes and long-term care facilities during the coronavirus crisis. It's important to note that no allegations of wrongdoing have been made against Governor Cuomo or the task force. The governor's office says it will cooperate with the investigation. Lawmakers are also reportedly moving towards stripping the governor of the emergency powers he was granted at the start of the pandemic.
