Amsterdam police are asking for the public's help in solving their city's first homicide of the year.
They say 37-year-old Ricardo Lopez died Friday after he was found shot in the head on Hibbard Street. Police don't believe the murder was a random act and say there's no reason for the public to be concerned. They're asking anyone with information on the case to call them at 518-842-1100.
