Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan has unveiled new four proposals she hopes improves housing in the city.

One piece of legislation would create a "good cause" eviction law, meaning landlords couldn't evict tenants unless certain requirements are met. Other measures address issues such as reducing blight and making changes to the city's rental registry. All four of the mayor's ideas will likely be discussed at the next Albany Common Council meeting.
