College athletes will soon be getting a boost from their fans after New York State approves in-person attendance at their sporting events.
Beginning Friday, facilities that hold over 1,500 people indoors can have 10 % capacity while venues that seat over 2,500 people outdoors can have 20 % capacity. Fans will be required to test negative for COVID-19 before being allowed to watch a game. Face coverings and social distancing are also likely going to be mandatory.
