There's a report one of Governor Cuomo's top aides was ready to call it quits.

Assemblyman Ron Kim tells WRGB that Melissa DeRosa wanted to resign in February, the day after it was revealed the Cuomo Administration purposely withheld the true coronavirus nursing home death toll number.

Kim, who has been a big critic of the governor, says Cuomo convinced her to stay.

A spokesperson for Governor Cuomo denies DeRosa wanted to step down.
