As of today, any New Yorker over the age of 16 will become eligible to receive their COVID-19 vaccination. But, there are some things those folks should know before signing up for their shots.

Only the Pfizer vaccine has been approved for people ages 16 and 17 and in order to get a Moderna or Johnson and Johnson vaccine you must be at least 18.

Appointments can be booked by visiting the state's "Am I Eligible" website or by calling 1-833-697-4829. So far, millions of people statewide have been fully vaccinated.
