For the second year in a row, Albany's Tulip Festival will be virtual. Mayor Kathy Sheehan says the decision was made due to lingering concerns over the spread of COVID-19.

In years past, the Mother's Day weekend event has drawn massive crowds of roughly 80,000 people to Washington Park and is highlighted by the crowning of a Tulip Queen.

More information on this year's festival will be announced in upcoming weeks.
