A guy in New York City was trying to get through customs, with illegal birds. He had 29 little finches, concealed inside hair curlers. Well, customs officials found them, and turned them over to the agriculture department. The guy was given a $300 fine and sent home. And by the way, this isn't the first time this has happened... Back in 2018 another guy did the same thing, but he had 70 live finches in curlers in his suitcase. Didn't they hear them?
A guy borrowed his girlfriend's $78,000 Maserati SUV... And was speeding down a California freeway, when police tried to pull him over. Instead of stopping, he led them on a high speed chase, of up to 100 miles per hour. But then he lost control, ran up an embankment and wedged the Maserati under a bridge. He was fine - taken the hospital... And then arrested... And presumably in a whole lot more trouble with his girlfriend, when he has to explain what happened to her $78,000 Maserati.
