Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins Not Running For Governor

New York Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins says she will not make a run for Governor next year against fellow Democrat Governor Andrew Cuomo.

Stewart-Cousins is one of the names that has been mentioned as a possible Democratic candidate to take on the scandal scarred Cuomo in a primary next year. Cuomo is facing a new investigation. This time into his best selling book. He is accused of asking his staff to help him research and review the book. Cuomo has previously said he would make a run for a fourth term in 2022.
