The state Department of Transportation says work towards permanently repairing a damaged overpass on the Northway is continuing to move forward.
Over the weekend, crews installed a temporary bridge on Sitterly Road in Clifton Park, just weeks after it was struck by a boom lift on the back of a truck. However, Sitterly Road remains closed to all traffic until pavement and railings are in place on the bridge. The truck driver involved in the incident was ticketed by State Police.
