Gloversville Police say they have arrested a 39 year old city man in connection with a Thursday morning on North Main Street near Naif's market.
Cecilio Persen has been charged with 2nd degree assault and criminal possession of a weapon for possessing a loaded firearm.
The woman who was shot is still at Albany Med. Gloversville Police say she is expected to be released in the next several days.
On Thursday, police said they believe the shooting was a targeted attack and that the injured woman was an innocent bystander.
