A 77-year-old woman is in critical condition at Albany Med after being brutally attacked in a parking lot.
Police say the victim was shoved to the ground Tuesday by 36-year-old Shante Cooper during a dispute in the area of Central Avenue and North Lake Avenue. The victim, whose name hasn't been released, suffered traumatic injuries. Cooper was found at the scene and is facing an assault charge.
