State officials say they're talking with the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention about changing the mask wearing policies at schools.

Governor Cuomo said Wednesday one thing he'd be in favor of is removing the requirement that kids have to wear facial coverings even while they're outside. The CDC says all of its safety rules need to be followed so in-person classes can be offered safely. Parents have been holding rallies statewide in recent weeks pushing for masking guidelines to be lifted.
