State lawmakers still have a little bit of work to do Thursday before this year's legislative session comes to an end.
They could vote on a bill that would seal the criminal records of people who have finished serving their sentences. The hope is that would help those individuals be able find a job and a place to live. Earlier this week, the Legislature passed tougher gun control laws including measures to ban the sale of so-called ghost guns and another that would make it easier to sue gun manufacturers under certain circumstances.
