FAA Investigating Cause of Plane Crash That Sent Man to Hospital

The Federal Aviation Administration is looking into what caused a plane crash in Washington County that sent a man to the hospital.

The aircraft was in the area of the Argyle Airport Thursday when it slammed into the ground, causing it to land on its roof. The pilot has been identified as 80-year-old David Klingebiel and he was airlifted to Albany Med for treatment of head, chest and leg injuries. No one else was on board the plane when it went down.
