After being canceled last year due to the COVID-19 crisis, fireworks will return for the fourth of July at the Empire State Plaza in Albany.

The 45th Independence Day event will also feature food and beverage vendors and musical performances. There is also going to be a pop-up COVID-19 vaccination clinic at the celebration from five-30 p-m until eight p-m. Fireworks will cap off the evening at around nine-15 p-m courtesy of Santore's World Famous Fireworks in Schaghticoke.
