A student-teacher at Niskayuna High School is in trouble with the law after being arrested on several charges.
Police say 23-year-old Nikos Assimakopoulos had a sexual relationship with a student in 2019 while she was under the age of legal consent. He was taken into custody after an investigation and charged with felony rape and child endangerment. Police are asking anyone who has information on other possibly illegal relationships involving Assimakopoulos to contact them at 518-386-4582.
