The New York City Police Department says a teenager has turned himself in following a shooting that left a local Marine injured.

Reports say the 16-year-old surrendered Wednesday and will face several charges including attempted murder and assault. When the teen opened fire in Times Square last month, one of the bullets ricocheted and struck 21-year-old Samuel Poulin of Northville in the upper back. Police say the shooting was the result of a dispute between the teenage suspect and a breakdancer and that Poulin wasn't targeted.
