Schenectady police will be giving an update Friday on the investigation into a murder that happened over one year ago.
Ieasha Merritt was shot last July 5th while standing at the corner of Albany Street and Hamlin Street. Officials say three masked suspects exited a vehicle and opened fire towards a group of people, with one of the bullets striking Merritt. She was rushed to the hospital but died several days later. Anyone with information on the homicide is asked to call police.
