NXIVM leader Keith Raniere has been ordered by a federal judge to pay restitution to his victims.
Raniere appeared virtually in a Brooklyn courtroom Tuesday and was told to hand over more than $ 3 million to the people he hurt while running his controversial sex-cult group. Raniere was sentenced to 120 years in prison last year after being found guilty of sex trafficking and racketeering. Several other NXIVM members are also spending time behind bars for their roles in the organization.
