A prisoner at the Albany County Jail is in more legal trouble after being taken into custody on a felony escape charge.
Sheriff Craig Apple says Pharaoh Mangroo was able to get out of the Colonie facility Tuesday and ran towards Shaker Ridge Golf Course. Two officers saw Mangroo get away, but were able to track him down on the golf course property following a brief chase. Mangroo was taken to Albany Med for treatment of injuries he suffered during the escape.
