Michael Mann Sentenced to 12 Years in Prison For Bank Fraud Scheme

The local businessman who created a $ 100-million bank fraud scheme will be spending the next 12 years in prison.

A judge sentenced Michael Mann of Clifton Park on Wednesday for his actions over a six-year period that led to the 2019 collapse of his company MyPayrollHR which left thousands of people without paychecks. Mann pleaded guilty to 12 felony charges and apologized to his victims in court, saying what he did was wrong. The 51-year-old was released after his court appearance but will begin serving his sentence September 21st.
