New York State has launched a brand new version of its Excelsior Pass COVID-19 passport that'll allow it to be used in more places.

It's called Excelsior Pass Plus and will be accepted at businesses and locations that use SMART Health Card technology to check and see if a person has been vaccinated against COVID-19 or if they've tested negative for the illness. Travelers can also upload their records to VeriFLY and use American Airlines for trips to countries such as Spain, France and Italy among others. Since it debuted earlier this year the Excelsior Pass has been downloaded millions of times.
