Governor Andrew Cuomo's top aide, Melissa DeRosa, is stepping down.

She made the announcement Sunday night, calling the past two years "emotionally and mentally trying." DeRosa made no mention of the turmoil following Attorney General Letitia James's report regarding sexual harassment allegations against the governor, which mentions DeRosa more than 150 times.

DeRosa called it a great honor to serve the people of New York for the past ten years.
