Political donors are calling on New York Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul to run for governor as Andrew Cuomo tries to save his career.
This, as the New York State Assembly Judiciary Committee kicked off its impeachment probe into the governor yesterday. According to some reports, Governor Cuomo has floated the idea of ditching his run for a fourth term in exchange for not being impeached, but officials say he won't get off that easy. The governor also has until Friday to present evidence contradicting the bombshell report from the state attorney general, which alleges he sexually harassed nearly a dozen women.
