New York Governor Andrew Cuomo's top aide who just resigned reportedly urged the governor to step down for weeks because of sexual harassment allegations.

According to News 12 Long Island, Melissa DeRosa was trying to get Cuomo to either resign or announce he would not seek re-election at the end of his term in order to tone down the impeachment talks. DeRosa stepped down Sunday, saying the last two years were emotionally and mentally trying.
