Hochul Believes Mask Mandate is Coming For Schools

Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul thinks there will end up being a mask mandate for schools across New York State after she becomes governor later this month.

Hochul made the comments on the NBC's Today Show. Hochul says she has already spoken with teacher union leaders and parents and wants school districts to have more input than in the past. She also told the Today Show she expects on running for a full term once she finishes out Andrew Cuomo's term. Hochul takes over for Cuomo August 24th. Cuomo is resigning following sexual harassment allegations.
