Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul says she's ready to work hard for New Yorkers once her administration begins in 12 days.

Hochul will be taking over for Governor Cuomo who said Tuesday he'll be resigning on August 24th following a report from state Attorney General Letitia James saying he sexually harassed several women. Hochul said Wednesday that her staff won't include anyone from Cuomo's office who was named in that report as someone who behaved unethically. Hochul, who will become the first female governor in New York history, says whenever her term ends no one will be able to describe her administration as a toxic work environment.
