Severe weather moved through parts of the Capital Region on Friday afternoon and evening. About two inches of rain was reported in Albany, which caused flooding in the area of Stuyvesant Plaza. Meanwhile, strong winds ripped through parts of Ballston Spa knocking over trees and power lines.

As of Saturday afternoon, National Grid was still working to restore power to many homes.
