Some critics are arguing that Governor Cuomo and his staff are using his last days in office to salvage his reputation instead of focusing on more pressing issues like the rent relief program.

The Democrat's political allies have been tweeting away about his accomplishments ahead of his resignation that takes effect next Tuesday. Democratic State Senator Gustavo Rivera tells The New York Post Cuomo doesn't seem concerned about the more than $ 2 billion program that has dished out only about $ 150 million to families struggling from the pandemic.
