A GoFundMe page is up and running after former congressional candidate and veteran Kyle Van De Water committed suicide.
Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro shared the link on his Twitter account, noting the heartbreaking situation, including that four children must now grow up without their father. Molinaro went on to say we may not know the way our peers are struggling, especially veterans. Van De Water reportedly shot himself inside a cemetery this past Tuesday, not long after announcing he'd be suspending his campaign for the 19th congressional district.
