One of the most popular holiday traditions in the Capital Region is going to have a brand-new location next year.
Organizers of the Capital Holiday Lights in the Park say this year's event will be the 25th and final one held at Washington Park in Albany. The announcement comes in the aftermath of complaints about the impact the event has on traffic in and around the park, but this year there will be a system in place to ease congestion. This year's event begins on November 26th and runs until January 2nd. There's no word yet on where next year's event will take place.
