New York Governor Kathy Hochul is signing three new gun laws into effect.
One aims to crackdown on disassembled gun parts being sold, allowing for untraceable guns to be made. It's called the "Unfinished Frames and Receivers Act," and is named in honor of Long Island native Scott Beigel who was killed during the Parkland Shooting. The two other bills signed Thursday aim to crack down on "ghost guns" that don't have serial numbers, and firearms that look like toy guns.
