New York Attorney General Letitia James is pushing back against former governor Andrew Cuomo's claims she's biased.

As James launches her bid for governor, Cuomo's spokesman has said her investigation into claims of his sexual misconduct were politically motivated, given she now seeks his old job. The attorney general dismissed that Monday while out on the campaign trail, pointing out Cuomo eventually referred the allegations to her after he attempted to pick a different investigator. Cuomo was charged with misdemeanor forcible touching last week and is due in Albany Criminal Court this month.
