The FBI says a Utah man is facing several charges after trying to set up the murders of two Hoosick Falls residents.

Federal prosecutors say 41-year-old Christopher Pence was arrested for agreeing to pay someone $ 16-thousand in cryptocurrency to have the killings carried out. The plot was stopped after someone notified the FBI, saying Pence had posted messages online looking for someone to carry out the murders. Officials believe the plan was Pence's attempt to end a child custody dispute.
