At least 200 students, faculty and staff members at Goff Middle School in East Greenbush have been placed in quarantine over the last couple of weeks.

Officials say there have been 31 positive COVID-19 cases identified in the building in the past two weeks with 26 of them involving students. Many of the students who have been quarantined are sixth-graders who aren't vaccinated yet. Most of the people placed in quarantine haven't tested positive for the coronavirus and are able to return to school after 10 days.
