Albany Police arrested a city man with 22 bench warrants for stealing packages from homes. Police were called shortly before 5 Friday night to North Pine Avenue for reports of a package thief. A few blocks away they located 18 year old Ernest Legree, who already had 15 warrants for failing to appear on previous larceny arrests. Legree also had five other warrants for stealing from the Delaware Avenue CVS numerous times between August and early November. He was arraigned and released to Albany County Probation.
