Investigation Continues Into Cause of Schenectady Fire That Displaced 19

Investigators are still trying to figure out what started a fire in Schenectady that displaced 19 people from their home.

The blaze happened Monday on Strong Street and crews arrived to find heavy smoke coming from the roof of the residence. Eight adults and 11 children were inside the home at the time of the fire but they were able to escape. No injuries were reported and everyone affected by the fire is being helped by the American Red Cross.
