Voters in the Lansingburgh Central School District will be going to the polls Tuesday to decide the future of an elementary school upgrade project.

If approved, millions of dollars would be spent to update Rensselaer Park Elementary School. Those funds would go towards things like a new cafeteria, equipment upgrades and the installation of an elevator to help disabled students. State aid would cover most of the cost of the project with the rest being paid for by capital reserves and a small tax increase. Voting is from 12:00 noon until 9:00 pm at the Lansingburgh High School gym and Turnpike Elementary School.
