Members of the SUNY Board of Trustees have announced who will be taking over for departing Chancellor Jim Malatras.
Current SUNY Oswego President Deborah Stanley is going to serve as interim chancellor beginning January 15th. Malatras announced his resignation earlier this month following criticism of how he behaved towards staff while serving in the state's higher education system and also while working as a member of former Governor Andrew Cuomo's administration. The Board of Trustees has promised a global search to find a permanent replacement for Malatras.
